Azure Streaky Platter

Azure blue and jade green swirl in this gorgeous streaky glass. Soft splashes of light lavender add depth and contrast. This is a symphony of colors that make me think of Humboldt's forests and beaches.  Green and light lavender glass is transparent ... bordered with opalescent black edges. Transparent colors produce lovely reflections. 

This piece began with 22 pieces of glass fused together. This platter is 1/4″ thick and weighs over 3 pounds. Although it is 100% glass, it is not delicate. Treated with care it can last a lifetime.

Fused glass is never a perfect rectangle or perfect circle. By its very nature, measurements are approximate. This platter is approximately 11-1/2" square.  It is approximately 2" deep.
